Horton Animal Hospital NE has been our choice for veterinary services since we moved here in 2019. They have ALWAYS been professional, courteous, caring, and most of all, on target for all our furbabies' needs. We could not ask for a more generous-of-heart facility. We all love our furbabies ferociously and it takes a LOT for us to feel confident in their care. HAH-NE offers exactly that. Peace of mind for all of us!

Honestly I was quite honestly really debating on writing this. A few weeks ago brought my lizard into get checked out because I had called to ask. I didn’t know what to do because she was in obvious condition and she hadn’t looked like that days prior to even weeks prior. Obviously they tell you the best decision is to get immediate veterinary care and that’s what I did, I did what I was told to you. Unfortunately the places you buy bearded dragons don’t or won’t give you enough information on how to properly handle bearded dragons, I’ve learned a lot on my own though. I’ve had her for three years and honestly I regret coming here in the first place. The receptionist honestly seemed to lack empathy and any time there was a piece of new information or if I wanted to go further I had to pay more and honestly I just broke down because I was already under severe stress and each time I kind of didn’t know what to do and she repeatedly just repeated the price and only ever talked to me about the prices and she just continually had a bland emotionless blank face. I genuinely felt as if I was bothering her when she came up to me. I think it’s just this pet veterinary that genuinely does not care if you have money or what your pets going through. Turns out my she had bone disease and unfortunately it was too soon to cure it and obviously I tried my best to learn the ends and out of how to take great care of a bearded dragon and unfortunately I did not know a lot about it. I honestly when the other vet tech or receptionist came in she told me do you want to spend all this money or just give up is honestly how they worded it more. Obviously I chose to end her suffering, I felt like it was the right thing to do and she told me I would get to say goodbye to her and then the receptionist came in and I was honestly just breaking down because I’ve been going through alot and she comes in to discuss more prices and it was honestly really aggravating. I’m not sure if well she was talking to me or after I had told her countless times can I just see her I didn’t get to. I did not get to say goodbye to her, honestly the doctor brought her back and the room and was very very sweet and I really appreciated them. I’ve also had someone close to me mention a similar experience. I’m unsure if they thought I didn’t deserve a last experience with her or if she just died, I wish I wasn’t promised what I was promised though. Will not come back ever again, Thank you.
